Jordan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia and Tennessee. She graduated from King University in 2020 with her Bachelor of Social Work and then from Walden University in 2023 with her Master of Social Work. She is currently enrolled in a PhD of Social Work program through Walden University and is interested in researching weight stigma and its impact on the recognition and treatment of eating disorders. Jordan has worked in a variety of roles in the mental health field since 2019, primarily assisting families with reconnection and healing from trauma and substance use. Since 2023, she has been providing crisis stabilization services for adolescents and outpatient counseling for adults experiencing complex trauma, substance use, disordered eating, and other challenges. She most enjoys working with individuals who struggle with disordered eating and complex trauma, as she believes that everyone deserves to heal and learn who they are outside of their conditions.
Jordan is an Inclusive Eating Disorder Specialist and is EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) Certified. Her therapeutic approaches include Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) strategies, and EMDR. Most often, she integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Somatic approaches into EMDR, allowing the client to work not just with their thoughts, but also with emotions, body awareness, and deeper patterns that shape how they move through the world.
Jordan offers a direct yet compassionate approach to help clients understand the deeper emotional and nervous system patterns that often drive relationships with food, body image, and control. Collaboratively, she works with clients to build a more trusting relationship with their body while developing practical skills for coping with difficult emotions and experiences. Her goal is to create a non-judgemental space where healing can happen at a pace that feels safe and supportive for her clients.
“But part of getting to know yourself is to unknow yourself – to let go of the limiting stories
you’ve told yourself about who you are so that you aren’t trapped by them.” – Lori Gottlieb

Clients can expect to feel welcomed, supported and free of pressure. I take time to get to know each client's story, concerns and goals while creating a space where they can feel heard and understood.
I believe meaningful healing happens when clients feel supported, understood and safe in their environment. My approach is both collaborative and direct, working alongside clients to identify goals, build insight, and develop practical tools for change. I am passionate about empowering individuals to better understand themselves and move forward with confidence.
I provide a calm space with comfortable seating, where clients can feel at ease, grounded, and safe to share openly at their own pace.
I work best with adults and teenagers, meeting each client where they are and supporting them through the unique challenges of their stage of life.
