Medication Management Coming Soon!!
At Family Refuge Center, we believe in caring for the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. That’s why we are excited to announce that medication management services will soon be available to our clients and community!
This new service will focus on non-controlled substances and is designed to make lower-level psychiatric medications more accessible without the long waitlists that so many families face. While we are not replacing comprehensive psychiatric care, our goal is to bridge the gap by offering timely, supportive options that align with our holistic approach to wellness.
Medication management services will be offered both in-person and through telehealth, giving clients the freedom to choose what works best for their schedule and comfort level. Importantly, there are no counseling requirements to access medication management through Family Refuge Center of Southwest Virginia. However, because we value holistic health, we hope to provide wraparound support and encourage clients to explore counseling and wellness services as part of their care when they are ready.
We look forward to walking alongside our community in this new way, continuing to provide compassionate, integrated care that supports healing and resilience!
Looking Ahead: Nutrition Support
At Family Refuge Center, we believe that true wellness involves caring for the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. As we continue to grow, we hope to expand our services by adding nutritionist support in the future. We know that nutrition plays a vital role in mental health, energy, and overall well-being, and we are excited about the possibility of offering our clients guidance in this area.
Our vision is to provide accessible, holistic care where counseling, medication management, life skills coaching, and nutrition can work together, helping our community thrive from the inside out!
